My Story

I have an athletic background in many different sports, with an emphasis on Football and Rugby. Although I considered myself athletic, I woke up one day and realized how overweight and out of shape I had become. I was determined to become fit, and after trying several programs, I was encouraged by one of my fellow coaches, Jennifer “Fruit” Fruitticher, to give CrossFit a try. I joined CrossFit Tao in January 2014 and the rest is history.

When I started at CrossFit Tao, I weighed in at 215lbs and now I’m at a lean 175lbs thanks to the tremendous help from my fellow coaches and guidance to change to a Paleo based nutrition program. I am excited everyday to step into the gym and encourage others to challenge themselves to be the best they can be. I continue to learn and improve as both an athlete and coach, and I feel my story empowers others on their CrossFit journey.

We are only getting started…. together we will make the impossible possible.
