The training at Tao is a core strength and conditioning program. The Workout will be constantly varied, consist of functional movements and be performed at high intensity. Functional movements are classed into 3 primary modalities monostructural (metabolic conditioning), gymnastics and weightlifting.


Performance can be brought to an abrupt halt by dysfunctional movement patterns and underlying restrictions in mobility. Oftentimes, the factors that impede performance are invisible. Regular mobility work illuminates and corrects common movement errors that can cause injury and reduce an athlete’s speed, power, endurance and strength.

Tao is a 5,000 square foot elite training facility located in Macon, Georgia. You will enjoy an additional 2,000 square foot outdoor training arena. Our coaches and athletes are passionate about fitness and helping you achieve your fitness goals.  We offer group and individual coaching, using the Tao’s methodology.  At Tao, we are tasked with empowering you to achieve your fitness goals by developing your proficiency and understanding of nutrition, metabolic conditioning, gymnastics and weightlifting.  Together, we will make the impossible possible.

At Tao, you won’t find the equipment found at your traditional gym: treadmills, abdominal crunch machines, elliptical machines, chest fly machines, and bicep curl machines.  You will see pull up bars, plyoboxes, rowing machines, kettlebells, medicine balls, bumpers, barbells and wide open space for running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing- moving your body as it was intended to be moved.  Our focus is on improving functional movements that are necessary in everyday life.

Following our methodology, at Tao our workouts will be constantly varied and may not be repeated in any given year.  What does this mean for you?  You will never get bored at our training facility, your body will have to adapt to change and you will be constantly challenged to reach new fitness levels.  More importantly, you will never have to worry about a routine, schedule or what workout to do today.  We will provide you with your workout each day scaled to meet your fitness level.
